Fourth grade reviewed the differences between a cityscape and a landscape. We virtually visited a city called Venice and saw how it rested on the water. We were inspired to create cityscapes with a reflecting image. The students were so proud of their work, they begged to not have them be hung up in the hallways and instead take them home right away. This is always a difficult choice since I know they want to take their creations home, but I also need to see them for grading and what not. However, this year we are using an Ipad app called Seesaw which allows students to document their work electronically. Woot woot for technology!
The art teachers of ISD623 welcome you to take a glimpse into their classrooms.
