1st Grade Winter Landscapes

CP first graders learned a new vocabulary word: Landscape; a picture of a place. We looked at and talked about different types of landscapes. We looked at landscapes that showed close objects large and far objects small. We created two snowy hills with large trees in the foreground and small trees in the background. Then we used tempera cakes to make a colorful night sky.
