How to Make Scratch Art Paper!



Making special scratch art paper is easy. You only need a few ingredients and tools. Central Park 2nd through 4th graders made their own scratch art paper using the following materials:
  • Paper
  • Oil Pastels
  • Black tempera paint
  • Liquid Dish Soap
After the paint dried, they used wooden sticks to scratch an image. There are a lot of household items you can use to scratch an image on this paper: toothpick, fork, skewer, paper clip, etc.
